Admission requirements

Would you like to really get started with a bachelor’s or master’s degree? Let us explain which requirements you must meet to enroll in a bachelor’s or master’s program at Charlotte Fresenius Privatuniversität.

Admission requirements for bachelor’s programs

To start a bachelor’s program, you need a university entrance qualification. You can prove it by the following qualifications:

  • the general university entrance qualification (e.g. Matura)
  • the special university entrance qualification for the chosen study program
  • if applicable, a proof that you have successfully passed the “Berufsreifeprüfung” or “Studienberechtigungsprüfung” for applicants who don’t possess a general university entrance qualification, but have successfully completed a vocational or non-vocational education relevant to the desired study program
  • an equivalent Austrian, foreign or international university entrance qualification.

You also need to proof the necessary language skills to succeed in your studies.

You don‘t have a general university entrance qualification, but you have completed an apprenticeship and are over the age of 20? ? If so, you have the opportunity to obtain a university entrance qualification by taking a “Berufsreifeprüfung”. You can also take a university entrance qualification examination with us. We will be happy to inform you about both options in a personal conversation.

Please note: Charlotte Fresenius Privatuniversität is currently only offering bachelor’s programs in German.

Admission requirements for master’s programs

For our master’s program in Business Administration (M.Sc.), you need to have a bachelor’s degree with at least 60 ECTS in economics. If you have less than 60 ECTS in economics, you will have to take an economics entrance test.

In addition, you must provide English language skills at a B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. We will be happy to offer advice in a personal conversation.

Language skills

You didn’t grow up in a German-speaking country? In this case, we require proof of your German language skills (DSH-2, TestDaF TDN 4, or equivalent).
